I’m Susan a nutritionist, exercise specialist, lifestyle coach and masseuse. I worked for years delivering an intervention programme for childhood obesity. I became disillusioned with the public health advice given and looked more into allegories and food intolerances. I realized that a vegan diet had a lot to offer, I have always practiced what I preach, hence I went from being a vegetarian to a vegan. I love to combine nutrients and flavor and like to create different soups, stews, muffins and more.

Getting around the area
Casa el delfin is located northeast of the old town, we are close to Plaza Santa Ana and the ruins of Iglesia Santa Ana, which looks ancient, but dates only to 1812. On the square is a former 19th-century prison, Real Cárcel (1844), which today houses a touristy restaurant and souvenir shop. We are close to the caves and cave disco. We are 500m from Plaza Mayor. A good way to get your bearings in Trinidad is to trace a path from the Plaza Mayor, the heart of the old town, heading west on Echerri and then down Piro Guinart to Plazuela El Jigüe, a quiet and pretty little square. Then head down Peña to Simón Bolívar and east on Antonio Maceo, the closest thing there is to a main drag in Trinidad. A couple blocks south of here, along Lino Pérez, is Parque Céspedes, the focal point of the "new" town. Getting around: We have bicycles for hire, we have a classic Chevvy we can drive you around in, we can arrange horse-riding, passage by horse and carriage or bicycle taxi. There is a mini bus to and from the beach each day and there are taxi’s and collective taxis. Viazul departs from the terminal in Havana twice daily, at approx. 8am and 1pm. Transtur is a transfer service. This can be booked at most hotels in Havana, whilst they will not pick you up from a casa particular they will do pick ups from a central hotel. They will drop you off at Plaza St Ana in Trinidad, close to our casa. Departure times from Havana can vary; 7am or 8am, and depending on availability there maybe an afternoon service.
