The space

The main guest room has two beds that may be placed together as a double bed or separated as single beds. There are also more beds in the house for extra guests if needed, e.g. a full writer's retreat can accommodate 5-7 guests with bed + work space.

The kitchen

Shared kitchen. There should be most everything you need there. There's even an old wood fired oven for bread making too.

I must figure out how to fix/change the kitchen fan. It's not a big nuisance with vegan cooking to lack a fan so I haven't got around to it...perhaps I have once you get here :-)

Other things to note

If I am around then there is a dog around as well.

During the summer it may be possible to rent the whole house with more than 5 beds.

Until I have had the chance to build a larger bathroom downstairs there is only one small shared bathroom in the house.

I was born in 1978, grew up on a small dairy farm in Sweden, turned vegetarian in my teens, and then mostly vegan after visiting the International Vegan Festival outside Melbourne in 1999. I work as an existentially oriented psychologist and a philosophical counselor. Been trying to finish my dissertation in philosophy.

Neighbourhood

There are no large roads nearby so the area is very quiet. Many small gravel roads and trails for walking.

It is possible to get here by public transport but you will need some special instructions for the last half hour of traveling from Valdemarsvik.
