About this space

Thank you for your interest in my home, your home away from home. Welcome to my sanctuary with plants in every room. What I love about my space are the hardwood floors throughout and high ceilings and windows in every room of this classic 2 bedroom pre-war apartmentmt, Also there is no TV however if you need to stream something on the internet, that is possible, there is a large smart screen in the living room.

The space

Your bedroom has a king size Thermapedic mattress which is very firm. Cotton sheets and a comforter. You will have use of one double hang closet and one of the dressers.

The shared living room is a large square with two windows and AC. The layout is such that there's a lot of floor space for yoga mats, along with a bookcase of Health and Wellness books.

The kitchen

There is a fully equipped raw, strictly vegan kitchen, with a cusinart food processor, vitamix blender, greenstar juicer and a commercial dyhdrator, you will have use of that and use of a cabinet for storage if needed. Water is through a Zero water filter. There is a dishwasher however, it is mainly used as a drainer for handwashed dishes. There is a stove top for making tea and minimal cooking. There are adiquate pots, pans, cooking utensils, silverware, large bowls, glassware, plates, mugs etc.

This includes no animal products (meat, dairy, eggs, etc.). Your dietary choices outside the home are your own. 100% Alcohol & Drug-Free Zone The home is strictly alcohol-free and drug-free, including cigarettes and vaping. No exceptions Quiet Hours Observe quiet hours from 11 PM to 9 AM daily. Cleanliness Clean as you go, especially in shared spaces. especially in the bathroom. No dirty dishes left in the sink, kitchen, or bedroom. Shared areas must be left tidy for everyone’s use. We recycle and seperate Food scraps and soiled packaging with food scraps disposed of or frozen Plant Care Access to your room is required once a week for plant care. Shared Space Access You are welcome to use shared areas, including the kitchen, living room, and bathroom. Respect others' belongings and space. Always lock the front door when leaving the apartment for security. Damage Policy Any damages over $25 must be repaired or reimbursed by the lodger. Guests Overnight guests are not permitted. Guests are not allowed during quiet hours without permission. Personal Belongings Keep personal items out of shared spaces unless actively in use.

The apartment on the 4th floor in a 24 hour doorman elevator building. It gets good daylight but does not have any views.

The closest Subway is the one train on Broadway at 145th Street, approximately 5 minutes walk.

The A C D and B trains are all accessible at 148 th st. and St Nicholas which is approximately an 8 minute walk.
