The space

At Gardenview Estate Bed & Breakfast, we offer a serene and welcoming space designed to provide our guests with both comfort and privacy. Our historic home features four distinct guest rooms, each thoughtfully designed to enhance your stay as well as a lobby stocked with games, puzzles, books & historic artifacts, a loft with coffee and tea bar with additional seating, and many outdoor seating options including a 2nd floor balcony.

The Rigley Room offers modern décor, a cozy queen bed, and an en-suite bathroom. Guests have direct access to the shared kitchenette and balcony seating, with picturesque views of the rose garden and Mingo Mountain.

All guests have access to our beautiful gardens, where you can explore the variety of flowers, herbs, and vegetables that we grow. The common areas of our home include a cozy sitting room with a selection of books, a fireplace, and comfortable seating, perfect for relaxation. A half mile walk to the Colville River can be enjoyed on property seasonally.

The kitchen

Guests have access to a shared kitchenette featuring a coffee station, tea selection with kettle, microwave, toaster oven & shared mini fridge. We do not ask all guests to only bring vegan food but each room has a designated shelf. If you prefer to store your items in the hosts vegan kitchen, that can be accommodated.

Other things to note

The hosts have one dog who is a grumpy old lady & is either sleeping or on short walks. You may not meet her during your stay & she does not access the guest room floor of the building. We also have 2 cats who are confined to our personal living space. You may hear them but will not see them unless you request a meet & greet.

Pets are not welcome in the Rigley room but are invited to stay in our deluxe suite. See our listing for the Mingo Mountain Suite if you'd like to bring furry friends. Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am. If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, cancellation notice is required 7-days in advance of your arrival date. With this advance notice, we will refund your credit card deposit minus a $20 cancellation fee, per room reserved. The $20 cancellation fee also applies to changes to your arrival/departure date that result in a shorter stay. Reservations canceled less than 7-days prior to your arrival date will be charged in full, unless your room(s) are re-booked by another party. We will make every effort to re-book your room(s) and will refund any room(s) we are able to re-book minus a $20 cancellation fee per room reserved. Gardenview Estate Bed & Breakfast does not take responsibility for changes to your reservation due to inclement weather, unforeseen changes to travel plans, personal sickness or injury, or family emergencies. I invite guests to step back in time with a guided tour of our historic property offered at 6pm nightly (March through October). As you explore the estate, you’ll learn about its rich history, from its origins as Saint Francis Regis Mission & Sacred Heart Academy in the late 19th century to its transformation into Lady of the Valley Convent and now, our charming B&B. The tour takes you through grounds, offering a glimpse into the lives of those who lived and worked here over the past century. You’ll visit key locations such as the cemetery, the former convent’s garden, and the former site of the Stations of the Cross, each with stories that paint a vivid picture of the estate’s storied past. This tour is a unique opportunity to connect with the history and heritage of our property, adding a deeper layer of meaning to your stay with us.
