I'm a long-time vegan over 20 years, activist, cooking instructor, personal trainer and yoga teacher. From Texas but immigrated to Europe 8 years ago and haven't looked back. I love my life in Portugal, living in a peaceful village minutes from the beach. I like board games, reading, movies, lifting weights, west coast swing dancing, volunteering for a kitten rescue, and traveling around Europe.
My Lifestyle
I work part-time in marketing so I can have free time to pursue hobbies and volunteer for two charities. I'm a morning person, so I wake up early so I can tackle the day! Hitting the gym is important to me, but I also have a small home gym for guests. I travel every month to west coast swing dance events.

About
I live in a beautiful village, one hour north of Lisbon. 8 minutes to the beach and near the freshwater lagoon, Obidos Lagoon, which is known for some of the best kite and windsurfing.
The space
I'm on the second floor of a quaint house in a quiet, peaceful village, 8 minutes to the beach, 8 minutes to Caldas da Rainha, 15 minutes to Obidos castle, and within an hour of many UNESCO sites on the Silver Coast. You'll get a cozy private room with a comfortable sofa bed and desk. The bathroom is shared, but it is large and you get your own sink. Toiletries provided. There is a movie nook with Netflix and a small home gym/yoga/meditation space. Keep in mind there is no air conditioning but a fan is provided.
The kitchen
Vegan kitchen, though I'm okay with a little dairy in the fridge. Small galley kitchen but I'll make room for you inside and in the pantry if you need to store food. Caldas has the largest outdoor farmer's market 364 days a year with amazing produce.
Other things to note
Public transportation is limited, so you would want a car for exploring the area. Uber/Bolt is available but limited. Parking is available a block from the house.
