About this space
The house is within a 5-minute drive of local craft coffee, beer, record stores, juicers, vegan restaurants, and everything else that makes KC unique. Whole Foods is about 7 minutes away by car. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat. Because of this we cannot accept any other animals in the home. You are more than welcome to cook and use the fridge. There is a community garden just a few lots down from the house. The neighborhood is very safe. We are tucked away on a quiet one-way street just a block off of vibrant Troost Ave. and Armour Blvd. Troost boasts delicious Ethiopian food, Ruby Jeans Smoothies, Anchor Island Coffee, Oddly Correct Cafe/Roasterie, Save A Lot, thrift stores, etc. We are a laid back couple. 420 friendly. We don’t drink. We go to bed pretty early but you can come and go as you like! Let us know if you have any questions.
The space
You’ll have a private bedroom and bathroom on the main floor. It is the only bedroom on that level. Our bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. Guests have access to the ground floor only with a private entrance!

Stainless steel appliances. Fridge/freezer with ice machine and filtered water. Electric range with oven. Double sinks. Lots of countertop space.

I live in one of the most bustling, pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods in all of Portland! Within walking distance are at least 10 vegan or heavily-vegan friendly restaurants. My apartment has a walk score of 98 and a bike score of 99. I have been an ethical vegan for over a decade. My small, loving cat enjoys staying in the apartment to keep guests company, but can be taken along with me when guests stay if that is preferred!
