The space

The guest space is located downstairs in a finished basement. There is a garment rack and a small cabinet. Despite the lack of windows, there’s ample warm lighting. The guest bath includes a stand-up shower, sink, and toilet. Soap and towels are provided. Guests are welcome to the W/D, but we ask that you provide your own detergent. Because this is an older, updated home, there will be mild noise from the wood floor upstairs when we’re walking about. However, we maintain quiet hours after 10 pm out of respect for our guests.

The kitchen

The updated kitchen includes a gas stovetop/oven, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator with freezer space. It’s a small kitchen that can handle meal prep nicely despite the limited counter space. An InstanPot with air fryer, toaster, and VitaMix are available for use.

Other things to note

The home is shared with a senior dog, Rocky. Rocky does not go into the basement because of his fear of stairs. But he’ll welcome any affection while you’re upstairs.
