About this space
The CozinesT or "Cozy Nest" Apartment represents a completely new way of traveling. Innovative climate-friendly concept, soaked with the feeling of relaxation and safety, just like the nest, will ensure the perfect start or end of the day.For a long time, this apartment was our home. Always warm and comfortable, it was so cozy and inviting that our friends used to fall asleep on the couch. Those moments are some of my favorite memories and the inspiration behind the name. You will feel like in a nest—comfortable, safe, and restful.My wish for you is to experience the life of us "Purgeri", as we like to call ourselves, even for only one day. Our street, Ulica Kneza Mislava, is the best location in town—just wait until you get out of the building and see the famous "mosque", as Ivan Mestrovic Pavilion is often referred to—it's the perfect place to start the day. This part of the city is known as "Little Berlin". The main square of Ban Jelačić is about 8 minutes wlak, the bus and train stations are also in the immediate vicinity. We are also surrounded by greenery (Krešimirac Park) and wonderful artisan bakeries, cafes and restaurants - we have listed all the details in our educational brochure.
The space
The CozinesT apartment has everything you need for a relaxed but conscious trip.
3 people can stay in the apartment, but we recommend the stay of 2 guests for maximum comfort.
The studio apartment is 38 square meters and consists of an entrance hall, kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom (partially partitioned).
We have carefully chosen bedding fabrics, pillows, and accessories for your most comfortable sleep. The apartment contains 1 double bed (140cm) and 1 sofa bed (160cm). (More info on our website)
In the bathroom you will find a washing machine, hair dryer, towels, and hygienic (but biodegradable) small things that we sometimes forget to take with us on the trip.
The kitchen is fully equipped because this is your temporary "home" during your trip.
The kitchen appliances are made of recycled materials. The coffee machine have biodegradable capsules. We also have water purifier/ mineralizer.
Upon arrival at the apartment, a climate-friendly (plant based) welcome meal awaits each guest as well as a selection of breakfast food.
Please inform us of any food allergies and intolerances. We have provided special pans for Vegans, so please send us the info in time.
We use a special, non-toxic cleanser for the space and bedding - as well as steam cleaner.

We arranged the kitchen with special care.
Small details, beautiful dishes, cups that are so inviting for coffee or tea, a magical bench next to the dining table, William Morris wallpaper. . pleasing to the eye and soul... that's how we would describe the kitchen.
Even our favorite yard pigeon (Zagreb's name for the pigeon is "Taubek") likes to greet guests through the window.
The kitchen is fully equipped because after all, this is your temporary "home" during the trip.
Please sort the waste, it is extremely important to us.

Other things to note
Pets are allowed with an extra charge of €10 per night due to the hire of a special cleaner to ensure that the apartment is free of allergens for future guests. A medium-sized bed for dogs and bowls for feeding pets await you in the apartment.
Upon arrival, we ask for some information from the guest's personal document, passport or any other document such as a driver's license for all arriving guests. This is a mandatory tourist registration that we have to do in the online registration form called E-Visitor. We will definitely send you more detailed instructions via e-mail.

Meal Preparation
A climate-friendly diet means rethinking the entire food system. Even small changes on an individual level can make a big difference if enough people make them. All our guests will have a complimentary (plant based) meal. Delicious chia pancakes, warm soup or casserole, or a platter of plant delicacies—we know how much it means to have a home-cooked meal after a long journey. Find more about the recipes and meals I prepare on our Instagram or Facebook „Zeleni zivot vege mama” I want to show you how delicious and nurturing climate-friendly food (primary plant-based food) can be, just like this apartment. If not prepared by me, your meals will be done by some of my top chef colleagues. I aim to use seasonal, organic, fair trade and locally sourced groceries. As I have been planting a small garden, you will get some of the home-grown goodies, too. You will find a list of locations that share our vision about food, in the apartment and on the website, so you can easily find your way around.

My whole family is mostly vegan, in rare occasions (when in guests) we eat vegetarian. I've been vegetarian for 17 years. My daughter is born as vegetarian, she is 11 y old now. Also i'm the author of educational cook book "Zeleni život vege mama" (The Green Life of Veggie Moms)—a little "bible" about nutrition and plant-based diet that helped many. The book is written in simple, fun language, and besides the rich knowledge, it also offers plenty of practical tips for the whole family. The most difficult thing in the world is to reveal yourself to others in your true colors. I feel the world, this thin line that connects us all much more than we can see, that's why the only way I want to build this business is the way that I live—with kindness. When I decided to rent out this apartment, I knew that it had to be something different, something for the higher good of all, something truly special. One thing about me is sure—I always follow my passion! Passion is what pushed me to participate in many environmental projects. I worked in the UNDP Energy Efficiency Department for five years, also volunteering and helping people, animals, and our Planet. But my biggest passion is my family: my precious daughter Milli, my husband Darko, and our two adorable rescued Poodles Coco and Woody. On a more formal note, I have a degree in Economics, majoring in Tourism, Public Relations, and Marketing. None of those were much fun for me until I changed how I eat, think, live, and travel. I started to follow many great speakers that do a lot for saving this world, and that was my turning point—knowing my business and experience can help our Planet.
