I became vegan for the animals 25 years ago when I lived in London. After living in the UK for 25 years I decided to move back to my native region and live by the sea with my 5 rescued rabbits! After months of renovation and decoration I am now able to offer other vegans a safe space to rent and spend holidays. I hope to welcome you soon!

I mostly listen to British bands and music these days: Oasis, Suede, Pulp, Bowie etc. Miossec is my favourite French singer. I love going to gigs and music festivals when possible. Also reading books but don't make enough time for it. I have started many over the last few years and never finished them!

Getting around the area
It is a perfect location to unwind, thanks to the quiet unspoiled area and secluded garden. There are lots of interesting places to explore nearby. The beach being so close makes it a perfect spot, as you can be there in no time, to relax, walk in the sand, swim, cycle and watch the amazing sunsets. The cities of Saint-Nazaire and Nantes are within reach should you wish to visit them too. 25 minutes drive for Saint-Nazaire, across the largest bridge in France, and Nantes is an hour away. This is where you will find the best options for eating out.

A closer look at the stay
About
This newly renovated duplex apartment for up to 3 guests is an ideal getaway for relaxing by the sea. It is located in the seaside resort of Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef and benefits from a private garden and entrance. It is ideal if you wish to travel with your companion dog. The large sandy beach, harbour, and sailing club are at the end of the street, 5 minutes walk away. The shops, street markets, coastal footpaths are only a 10 minute walk. All products used in the house are vegan, cruelty-free and mostly organic. Plant-based breakfast is provided. For your convenience, bikes are also available to borrow on site for free. Should you wish to explore further, there is a bus stop nearby and private transportation can also be arranged.
The space
Your private entrance is via the back of the house, and into the lounge where you can relax on a brand new BZ convertible sofa bed with comfortable high quality mattress. You access the kitchen via an open doorway with a bamboo curtain. Upstairs you will find the bedroom and bathroom/toilet under the sloped roof. The bedroom is cosy and contains a small 120cm double bed. There is a large storage cupboard on the landing to hang your clothes and drawers in the bedroom. The bathroom has been entirely renovated and is equipped with a high standard luxury shower.
The kitchen
The kitchen including all appliances are new: electric plates and hood, fridge, microwave and coffee-maker. Crockery, cutlery, kettle, cooking pans and all basic kitchen utensils are available There is a breakfast table with 3 high stools in the kitchen as well as a larger covered sitting area available in the garden, under the beautiful pine trees.
Other things to note
Free parking is available on the street in front of the property and there is a bike storage in the garden. Feel free to bring your own bikes. There is good WIFI signal. Please note that there is no TV in the apartment, but books and games instead, to invite you to take a break from the screens, free your mind and make the most of the outdoors :)
