Hi, I’m a vegan of 10 years and before that was vegetarian from the age of 6. Myself and my family live in the picturesque English village of Stanwick with our cat Jerry. We love the countryside and especially the beautiful lake walks which are accessible from our property.

We have a yoga class in the village 6.30-7.30 on a Thursday evening. Search livwellyoga on Facebook. A similar class operates in Wellingborough on a Sunday morning. We are a great base for keen runners with 3, 5, 7, 9, 12 miles and longer routes available. Kate can give you the details.

Getting around the area
Our local pub does a lovely vegan roast. The wine bar does a vegan cheese board. We are walking distance from Stanwick Lakes which has beautiful walks/bike trails and adventure playgrounds. It has a vegan friendly menu including kids options and delicious cake. We are a 6 min drive from Rushden Lakes shopping centre which has all the usual high street brands plus Pizza Express, Zizzi, Bills, Wagamama.

About This Space
A closer look at the stay
About
This cosy self contained annex is located in our beautiful garden, but totally private with its own entrance. The village of Stanwick has a lovely pub and wine bar both with vegan/veggie options plus a Chinese takeaway and local shop.
The space
The annex has a generous bedroom with a super king bed - which can be easily changed into a twin (2 singles) There is an ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet plus a separate WC. There is a full kitchen which includes oven, hob, fridge, microwave and toaster plus cutlery and crockery.
The kitchen
This kitchen is completely separate from our own. We can provide vegan breakfast items such as oat milk, croissants and bread/jam etc.
Other things to note
Private gated parking for one car. More upon request. Our cat Jerry lives in our house and uses our garden. The front of the house is on a main-ish road however the back faces the garden and is very peaceful.
