We are Frédérique and Nadia, Aveyron natives at heart since 2017. Our greatest pleasure is to share our way of life in transition towards a world more respectful of the living. In our ecological and vegetarian guest house, we welcome you as friends, with warmth and good humor: Frédérique in the kitchen, Nadia in her massage room for a soothing break. My Lifestyle
Our ambition for our guesthouse is to be an environmentally friendly home that will eventually become a zero maste place, self-sufficient food-wise and that will leave hardly any carbon footprint. We experiment a slow life style on a daily basis: good (for the body and mind), clean (for the planet) and fair (for humankind). Day after day, step by step, on our small scale, we yearn to transform ourselves to "be the change we wish to see in the world".
Fun Facts About Me
I've been a drummer in a female rock band (long ago!). I like to dance as often as I can. I can imitate the deer barking (it's quite bad). What else?

OUR GUEST HOUSE is perched in a very small hamlet, on the southern slope of the Viaur valley, near Najac, in Aveyron. Far from the buzz of the world without being far from everything, the heart of Occitanie always has some "most beautiful village in France" or "Grand site de Midi Pyrénées", passing by Laguépie (10 min), Cordes sur Ciel (20 min), Villefranche de Rouergue (20 min), Saint Antonin Noble Val (30 min), Monestiès (35 min) or Albi (50 minutes). Don’t miss if you have time: the bastide of Villefranche-de-Rouergue on a market day (Thursday), the village of Belcastel overlooking the river Aveyron, the vineyards of Marcillac and Gaillac... Activities easily accessible in the surroundings: hiking on the GR and trails, mountain biking, horseback riding, tennis, golf, paragliding, climbing, via ferrata, swimming in the Viaur, swimming pool in Najac, canoeing, kayaking and whitewater rafting, river fishing and lakes... More chic: flying in a hot air balloon!

A real little green paradise isolated from the world (but not too much) with beautiful views of the Viaur valley
The space
Want to disconnect? What about going « Green BnB »? You are invited to share a 100% organic, natural and vegetarian lifestyle during a nature break in the Viaur Valley, in Aveyron-Ségala. In our ecological and vegetarian guest house, it is our pleasure to welcome the followers of slow experiential tourism, the amateurs of nature baths and well-being, the lovers of trees, birds, white waters - and especially you if it’s all about you! THE HOUSE is an old barn and stable, which we have been finishing since our arrival in spring 2017, with equipment chosen for their lower carbon and energy impact, materials healthy for the environment and its inhabitants, quite a bit of recycling and even more elbow grease! In this haven of greenery with an incredible panorama on the spectacular Viaur valley, we welcome you at home, in our guest rooms, according to the original spirit of the guest house. THE GRANDE OUEST ROOM is a large double room with cathedral ceiling, a queensize bed and a bathroom, with private access to dry toilets on the landing... and especially a breathtaking view of the hills of the valley! The bedding and linens are made of natural or organic materials as well as the paints and varnishes used for renovation.
The kitchen
Breakfasts are usually served on the terrace, facing the valley panorama, or in our large kitchen in case of cold weather. Bread, spreads, yogurts, granola, cakes... everything is homemade (including some of our cleaning and hygiene products). If you wish to add the evening meal (upon reservation), you can share at our table d'hôtes a healthy and vegetarian home cooking, based on fresh products (partly from our garden), organic, local or fair trade. We prioritize the use of healthy utensils and cooking methods in the kitchen and try to ban plastic. Vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free? Ask us, we know how to adapt!
Other things to note
We share our daily life with the adorable ladycat Félicie, our three Ouessant ewes Tara, Thelma and Louise, and all the precious wildlife: birds, insects, deer and much more! Our house is the last one in the hamlet of La Capélanie. You can freely park your vehicle using the paths on either side of the welcome sign (shared space with the Phénix lodge). It is a pleasure to share with you our aspirations and inspirations for a lifestyle in conscious harmony with Nature: well-being, health, natural food and gardening, personal development, healthy habitat, ecological issues, zero waste approach... And of course all the good places, visits, activities and hikes to discover around - tested and approved by the house. Starting with the pancakes restaurant-guinguette just down the road!

• We have noticed that our place is not confortably suitable for young children, so we generally advise against stays with children under 7 years old. • We provide household linen (bed sheets and towels) for the length of your stay. As we obviously care about the planet, we will not change the linen until after you leave. • The same goes for cleaning, which will be done before you arrive and after you leave (but not on a daily basis ...). • Please don't take, cook or eat any food in the bedrooms. • Please be quiet inside the house if there is an ongoing massage. • Unlike a traditional holiday house we don't provide any games for the children or swimming equipment (like sandals to walk in rivers) or sports gear or picnic baskets so please bring your own.
