Welcome to our bright and cozy home superclose to nature (lake & skiing tracks) and the city centre :)It's around 100 m above sea level next to one of the best spots in Tromsø city to see the northern lights: Prestvannet!Moreover you're in a very safe and cozy neighborhood, well connected and we hope you'll love it as much as we do!Questions? We are fluent in English, German and Norwegian, so contact us in whatever language is convenient for you.PS: New to VegVisits, but love the concept! I've hosted on a variety of hospitality platforms, so ask me for references if you're scared of booking :)

About the location
- Right next to the ski trail and the lake: ideal for walking, jogging, or cross-country skiing
- Only 3 min to the nearest bus stop (Stalheim) with direct buses to the city centre (5 min) & airport (7 min)
- 20 min walk to the city centre: A large part of the way is with very little cars and a view <3 Note that the city centre is downhill.
- Walking & biking distance to most places on the island
- during rush hours direct busses to the university/hospital

The kitchen
Use our fridge, stove, oven and feel at home <3 We'll also gladly provide tips on where to find tasty vegan food when eating out!
Other things to note
1.) The building is older, so you might hear a few creaks and notice some quirks. It’s part of its charm, and we hope you’ll love it as much as we do!
2.) We just bought this flat to live in, but we can’t move in right away. So for the first 1.5 months, it’s all yours! This way, you get a cozy home-away-from-home, and we don’t take housing away from locals. Win-win!
3.) One doublebed available + double airmattress + single mattress on the floor - so be aware that we don't have 5 regular beds <3

Originally from Germany, but I moved to Norway in 2015 and fell in love with the country and its people. I work at Tromsø’s library (which is definitely worth a visit if you’re in town, with beautiful architecture and a great spot for coffee with a view!) and in an NGO called Grønn Framtid (Green Future). I’m passionate about creating a better tomorrow for humans, animals, and the planet, and I love sharing a little piece of beautiful Tromsø with visitors.
