Camping on working animal sanctuary with nearly 50 adorable and friendly animals

We have a working animal sanctuary with nearly 50 animals: dogs, cats, pigs, goats, chickens, turkeys and bunnies. The animals are on the back half of the property and the front half is open for camping. We have a firepit, picnic tables (2, first come first serve), a pool, and we'll be adding a compostable toilet soon! You'll have plenty of places to camp and you can set up anywhere you like! The land is mostly flat and cleared but surrounded by woods. We are right around the corner from the Carl Sandburg National Historic Site and very close to awesome waterfall hikes like Big Bradley and Little Bradley in Saluda, and DuPont State Forest in Brevard. We are located less than three miles from downtown Hendersonville where there are plenty of bars, breweries, restaurants and shops (it's an awesome town).

The space

There is open camping here for either tents or rv/campers (no hookups unfortunately). There are three firepits and a coleman stove guests can use as well.

The kitchen

This is a camping opportunity so bring coolers and please keep food in cars when not in use as we are in bear country!
