Camping at Casa Tortuga on Gobernadora Island.

We have around 2 hectares of land on the island of Isla Gobernadora, which is located 30 mins from Santa Catalina.On one side of the island we have the main house (Casa Tortuga) where the bathroom and kitchen is shared between those in the cabin, and those camping. Where we are located is on a big hill with both a view of the sea and the mountain and a 5 min walk along the beach to the small village on the island. where there are two small shops that each contain what you can see behind the counter on a couple of shelves that sell the basic essentials.Our land on the other side of the island is beach front, with a fresh water creek running through it's heart and a white sand beach in front.Here the land is still wild and great for overnight stays camping, and bonfires, especially as it's faces west and therefore the most spectacular sunsets.There is no grid power on the island or roads and we hope it stays that way.
