Hello my name is Becca. We live in a beautiful little wooden log Cabin in a magical garden in Hout Bay. I am married to a gentel giant called Pat and we have a little boy, Max who is 18 months old. We also have a beautiful dog called Merzy. We are passionate vegetarians, I am vegan and my Husband sometimes eats dairy products. Our little boy is predominantly vegan but eats dairy products from time to time. We have a passion for delicious food and cooking. We love to host and meet new people from all around the world.

Getting around the area
Hout Bay is Magical, it is close to the city but also has a small village feeling about it. We are on the my City Bus route as well as the hop on, Hop off bus. We are 10 minutes away from the beach and a beautiful market which happens every weekend. There are two amazing health shops in our village and we have access to organic fruit and veg and amazing coffee shops. Favorite places: We enjoy going to the harbour and the beach and climbing mountains that surround us. We also enjoy going up the road to local wine estates to taste delicious wines. Getting around: My City bus, Uber and we can provide lifts.

A closer look at the stay
About
Come and join us in our little log Cabin in a magical secret garden. We are a family of three and have a beautiful dog called Merzy who you are welcome to take a long with you on hikes around the area or for walks on the beach.
The space
We have one private room with a double bed. The room gets beautiful light and is warmest in the afternoons when the sun shines through in all its glory. We share a bathroom which has a bath and shower. Our communal space is both homey and big. Guest access: You will be given a remote and a spare key to our house and will be able to come and go as you please. There is parking space for another car and if you don't have a car there are ubers all around. I am also happy to give you lifts to the Hout Bay village if you need.
The kitchen
We are an exclusively vegan house and dont buy animal products, we have a dog who eats dog food which does contain animal products as we feel she needs it. Our kitchen is the heart of our home and we love to cook delicious vegan meals together as a family. We have a beautiful vegetable garden which we harvest most of greens from.
Other things to note
We have a toddler who is sometimes up early in the morning, so you need to be able to sleep through any noise or join us for our morning dance parties and breakfasts ;)
