Hi there! I’ve been living in Iceland since 2013, and this place still amazes me every day with its wild landscapes and peaceful energy. I’ve been vegan since 2014, and I love cooking as well as sharing my passion for plant-based food. I feel happiest when I’m traveling or spending time in nature, practicing and teaching yoga, and exploring new places whenever I can. While I’m away I open my apartment to guests, hoping it feels like a cozy little home where you can relax, recharge, and enjoy Reykjavík at your own pace.

Getting around the area
The apartment is located in a central yet quiet and safe neighborhood, making it an ideal base for exploring Reykjavík on foot. From here, you can easily walk to the city’s main street Laugavegur, Hallgrímskirkja church, and the Sun Voyager sculpture. Reykjavík Art Museum Kjarvalsstaðir and Klambratún park are also just a few minutes away. There’s a vegan coffee shop within a short walk. The area is also well connected to public transport, making it easy to get around the city and to the airport.

About
Bright and cozy apartment just a few minutes walk from Reykjavík’s main street. The apartment features a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and two private balconies, offering beautiful views of Perlan and Hallgrímskirkja.
The space
Welcome to my cozy home in downtown Reykjavík! This bright and comfortable apartment is the perfect base for exploring the city while enjoying a quiet, relaxing space to return to. The apartment is located on the second floor (no elevator) and it features one bedroom with queen bed, living room, kitchen, compact bathroom with toilet, sink, and narrow shower, and two private balconies. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light, and from the apartment you can enjoy views of Perlan and Hallgrímskirkja. You’ll be close to everything Reykjavík has to offer: main street and Reykjavik's main attractions, swimming pool, restaurants, and a supermarket, are all within walking distance.
The kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday cooking. It includes counter space, a fridge and freezer, oven, kettle, french press, blender, and a dining table. Guests are welcome to use all available kitchen tools, such as bowls, cups, and cutlery during their stay. As I have celiac disease, I kindly ask guests to only bring and cook gluten-free food in the kitchen.
Other things to note
There is free parking in the surrounding area and fast wifi. Essentials (towels, sheets, soap, toilet paper and pillows) are included. This is my personal home so I kindly ask guests to treat the space with care. ♥️
