Aloha! My wife Nicole and I are both whole food, plant based vegans. Living a clean and healthy life is important to us so we stay as active as we can on this beautiful tropical island paradise. We are outside hiking, surfing, swimming and enjoying everything this island has to offer. We also own a 5 acre property on the big island where we frequently travel to, where we grow a variety of of amazing fruits and vegetables.

Getting around the area
Walk to the infamous Ted's Bakery across the street as well as a tasty Thai food truck and also Sunrise Shack which is an organic coffee, smoothie and breakfast/lunch spot. V-land and Rocky Point is a short walk as well as trailhead for the Pillbox and Pupukea hiking trails. The famous Pipeline surf spot, Waimea Bay, snorkeling at Sharks Cove, and Foodland grocery store is a quick bike ride or a nice easy walk. This is a safe, friendly beach neghborhood.

About
Please read entire description and house rules before booking. Fall asleep & wake up to the sounds of North Shore's legendary waves. Your room has a full length window ON Sunset Beach. Watch surfers, whales and rainbows and of course the Sunset from your bed!
The space
The best bedroom view of Sunset Beach! Grassy backyard with lush green plants leading to the sand and turquoise water. Beach-side table & chairs, a hammock between two tall coconut trees. It's a true tropical paradise. Your room has a huge window right over Sunset Beach and is a 14' x 14' private loft above the main living area of the house, queen size bed, dresser, mirror, night stands, 2 fans if needed and bath towels. It's a basic room with million dollar views. The room is basic yet comfortable, and the views are dreamy and unbeatable by even 5 star hotel resort standards. Walk out the door and you are on the beach.
The kitchen
Well appointed kitchen with glass Berkey water filter, Vitamix, Ninja food processor, induction stove, XL convection/toaster oven and other great kitchen toys. Ample counter space and large fridge. We are both vegan but we are OK with those who eat yogurts and cheeses. We do not allow cooking/preparation of eggs.
Other things to note
While we do have a TV, we do not have cable or streaming services; we use it maybe once every two months. Our home is our sanctuary, so we prefer our guests to not spend time on the couch watching TV, so if they feel the urge to binge watch something, it's best done in the privacy of your room.
