We are a small family of a mum (Tekla) a dad (Jakob) and a five year old girl (Zea) Tekla is a psychiatrist, and has her own clinic in connection to our home. Jakob is head of a theatre in Kolding. We love a warm climate, so we try to get away as often as possible. Either to our summerhouse at Lake Balaton in Hungary or to some other destination.
My Lifestyle
Our diet consists primarily of fruits, nuts and raw or fermented vegetables with an addition of a few processed foods like tofu, hummus etc We rarely cook and always with clean flavours and not a lot of spices. We love animals. We have two Maine Coon cats (Bliss & Shaman) two Swiss Shepherd dogs (Karma & Shanti) All vegan! And we have an aquarium too. Our garden is in transition to become wild to become a haven for wild bees and butterflies.

Jakob is half Danish, half Icelandic He has lived in France (Paris) and Germany (Kiel & Bonn) Tekla is from Hungary. She has lived in Great Britain (London) and in Denmark since 2010

Getting around the area
Quiet area but close to city centre. Nice parks, forest and sea nearby. A bit hilly which adds to the charm. Two Tokyo bikes and a cargo bike available. Aarhus is great on a bike :) Best vegan brunch in town is at Cafe Glad ten minutes away on bike This is also close to Ingerslevs Boulevard with the fruit and vegetable market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We are happy to share other vegan tips and tips for hiking/experiences.

About This Space
A closer look at the stay
About
Newly built home with a lot of charm and colour! Our dogma when we decorated it: Anything but white! Quiet location close to the sea and forest and only ten minutes from the city centre. Huge south west terrace and cozy garden turning wild :) Everything is nice and comfortable.
The space
Big kitchen/livingroom space with two sofas and a dining table for 4-5 people (high chair) Bedroom 1: Double bed with memory foam mattress. Bedroom 2: bed for a kid (80x200cm) Bathroom with shower and washer/dryer Bathroom with toilet Floor heating everywhere, ventilation, electric curtains and fiber wifi. Direct access from kitchen/dining space to terrace. Key free access to house. We send you a unique code which only works during your stay. For everybody's safety :)
The kitchen
Kitchen has oven, induction stove, boiling water tap, refrigerator/freezer, full automatic coffee machine, Angel juicer and dish washer. Please avoid spices like curry. We prefer a raw and simple diet ourselves, so the smell of very spicy food is a bit overwhelming ;)
Other things to note
We love animals! We have two Swiss Shepherds, Karma and Shanti, and two Maine Coons, Bliss and Shaman - all vegan of course! We also have a hamster Charlie and an aquarium with around 30 fish :) You can bring your pets.
