An ark of peace & holistic well-being: pristine nature, beauty, honouring Life

The bioclimatic and artistic character of every space in Korogonas Ark emits what is needed by every human soul so to find comfort, trust, beauty and connection with Nature and the Self.

The spaces have been constructed with local stones, rocks, wood and straw-clay techniques with natural plastering. Every bed is wooden and hand-made with special mattresses of natural materials by Coco-mat.

Guests are invited to experience the whole land, its diverse trees, i.e. olive, eucalyptus, carob, nut trees, fruit trees etc., the vegetable gardens, the 'holy' olive hill, the circle of pomegranate trees, the 'Princess', 'Prince', 'Wisdom', 'Four Graces' wild olive trees, the olive grove of Dreams.

Guests have access to the main building of the Ark upon invitation by the hosts, where there are singing bowls, a piano and two harps, an Indian flute and a great variety of books on self-awareness, philosophy, poetry, art.

There is an on-going exchange book bazaar as well where people are invited to get a book for free and donate a book which they do not need anymore.

Smoking, mind-altering substances, alcohol do not exist in Korogonas Ark land of peace.

In the guest spaces there is a sink and the possibility of preparing hot beverages (i.e. herbal teas) and soups with a kitchen fire stove.

Apart from the above amenities, in one of the spaces there is also a counter to chop vegetables and prepare plant-based meals, and a refrigerator.

In the whole Korogonas Ark's land there is no exploitation of the animal kingdom whatsoever. Also there are no products of violence and injustice, no animal products' consumption, no sugar, no chemicals, no processed foods.

We invite and encourage visitors and guests to experience plant-based meals & beverages and explore the enormous possibilities, health benefits, energy boosting, beauty, art and high taste of plant-based organic cuisine.

Depending on the needs of both sides, we either prepare food for the visitors/guests or they prepare it on their own.

Guests are also encouraged to purchase Korogonas Ark's pure products (i.e. herbs, wild olive oil, domesticated olive oil, olives, carobs, lemons etc.) and use them when preparing their meals.

We might also share meals, whenever possible.

Parking is extremely easy and free. Internet connection is always strong. Visitors and guests take care of their own internet package service with their own devices, according to their needs.

Five dogs and two cars live in the property. All of them live outside the buildings of the Ark.

The place is characterised by its peacefulness, pure/gentle aromas by the plants and Nature's authentic manifestation.

Crystal clear starry night skies are of sublime and metaphysical beauty.

Bird songs, the sound of the sea waves/wash on specific days, according to the wind, bring every visitor in closer connection with Nature's cycles.
