About this space

A nice light and spacious chalet with open plan kitchen/diner living area.Set in one and a half acres of land that is used for growing organic fruit and vegetables. The chalet is set at the end of the garden over looking the field. Dogs are welcome and you are free to walk them round the field, but as we have ducks and chickens we request that you keep them on a lead .However there is a fenced off area around the chalet where you can sit to watch the sun go down or look at the stars. We are a Vegan family who grow most of our organic fruit and vegetables we eat. We believe that eating a natural organic vegan diet will help your Health and Well being .We offer a vegan stay for those interested in vegan living and we can offer advice and support in this area.

The space

Although there is one bedroom with a king sized bed, there is a sofa bed in the main space. Shower room ,sink and toilet in adjacent building

Guest access: On arrival Parking is on the drive at the front of the house and you have to walk through the garden to access the chalet along a gravelled drive. There is a private entrance at the rear of the chalet over a stream that leads onto a footpath. Please make sure the gate is shut so the ducks do not go through. If you are interested in organic gardening please feel free to have a look around and have a chat about what we are growing. During the summer and autumn months there may be some produce you can buy. There is a wildlife pond where you can sit and relax and there's also a small stream the ducks like to go to.

The kitchen

We request that as it is a vegan health retreat only vegan food is eaten in the chalet.cooking equipment :there is a 2 ring electric hob ,air fryer(mini oven) toaster, electric kettle ,pots and pans etc fridge and freezer

Aberystwyth is the nearest coastal town.It is a university town with lots of amenities and while in Aberystwyth you could visit The Vale of Rheidol Railway, It is a narrow gauge heritage railway, opened in 1902, that runs for 11 3⁄4 miles between Aberystwyth and Devil's Bridge with breath taking views down the valley. Aberaeron is only a half hour drive away,a quaint seaside town with lovely views across the Cardigan Bay and Newquay is only an hours drive away where you can see the resident bottle-nose dolphins and porpoises
Favorite places: lots
Getting around: The coast is half an hour drive away. The nearest coastal town is Aberystwyth and there are also a couple of buses into Aberystwyth from the village. Aberystwyth has a railway station with trains every two hours to England. There is also the option of taking a train ride up the coast as far as the LLeyn peninsula. There are fantastic views of Cardigan bay from the train and you can stop off at places of interest.
Five miles away is the market town of Tregaron with an organic shop and cafe and fifteen miles away is the university town of Lampeter.
