About this space
MoaAlm Mountain Retreat, your home for your Austrian holiday, is situated at 1800m in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park within the Alps of East Tirol. Situated just 3km above the small community of Kals am Grossglockner, MoaAlm is a stylishly renovated guest house with room for a maximum of 12 - 15 guests. After an active day in the outdoors you can enjoy the astonishing mountain views from our sunny terrace, then soak in our wood burning hot tub, all before having a vegan dinner at our shared communal dining table. We provide daily yoga classes, guided hiking in the summer and guided snowshoe hikes in the winter.
The space
We offer a private ensuite room in our small vegan run guesthouse. We have 6 guest rooms, each with the option of being a twin or a double. Each day we provide a yoga class, in the summer we offer daily guided hikes and in the winter we offer guided snowshoe hikes and transport to the ski area. We have a communal sitting area, with a large oak table for our vegan breakfasts and evening meals. We are in a remote location with a large outdoor area to enjoy the view and a wood burning hot tub.
The kitchen
We provide breakfast and evening meals for our guests. We also provide a plant based cake in the afternoon for a treat after a day exploring the surrounding mountains. We have a communal space to provide hot drinks.
Other things to note
We are in a remote and very quiet location. We do have an active rescue dog, who loves to meet new people and join on the hikes when possible.
