OPEN EVERY SUMMER FROM MAY 16 TO SEPTEMBER 22! Our newly, renovated 1800's French barn and cottage is located in a peaceful countryside town in Paley, France. It is located southeast of Paris, easily accessible by a one-hour drive or train ride from the city. The Fontainebleau forest surrounds the town, as well as dozens of nearby, quaint villages and a beautiful French castle. In addition, Fontainebleau is one of the most spectacular bouldering spots in the world. Whether you're interested in well-being activities, delicious vegan food, or just a serene place to rest, we invite you to fall in love with Bella's Cottage at La Grange DesRochers!

The space

At the moment, only Bella’s cottage is available for reservations. The cozy cottage is completely private with it’s own private entrance and private garden space. Guests will have the entire cottage to themselves. The cottage can accommodate up to 3 guests. There is a fully furnished dining room and living room area.

The newly renovated private bathroom has a gorgeous clawfoot bathtub and walk-in Italian shower. The spacious bedroom has a queen size bed with a comfortable eco-friendly mattress. There is also a classic lit bateau (single bed) for children or one person in the living area which can also be used as a comfortable seating area.

The kitchen

The cottage also has a fully equipped kitchen: stove, small refrigerator, small freezer, electric tea kettle, pots/pans, plates, french press for coffee, bowls, wine glasses, mugs, utensils to cook and silverware.

Other things to note

A delicious vegan breakfast is included.

We can also offer vegan dinners on request. We use seasonal vegetables from our organic vegetable garden.

Wifi is included.

Secure parking is located on the premises.

Bella’s Cottage is dog friendly.

Smoking is not allowed on the premises or in the cottage.

Please note: There are stairs in Bella’s cottage. 3 steps going into the bathroom and one step to go in and out of the kitchen.

I have been vegan since 2001 and my husband, David has been vegan since 2014. We love cycling, hiking and rock climbing. We have a newly adopted dog, named Lorenzo, who is 1 years old. I am currently a full time Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor. David has been renovating our property since 2021. He is a very good cook and will be making your vegan breakfast and dinner.

Neighbourhood

Our little quaint village, Paley, is surrounded by gorgeous places to hike, cycle or go rock climbing. There are many day trips to do from our village such as a visit to Paris, Fontainebleau, Moret-sur-Loing, Provins and many other charming villages.
