Operating as a Vegan B&B since April 2014, The Beet Retreat offers all comers the opportunity to rest, relax and recharge in a beautiful setting just 45km from Melbourne's CBD. Located in a beautiful pocket well away from main thoroughfares and with expansive views, beautiful meals and large comfortable rooms, a stay here offers a real chance to reconnect with nature and relax. The Beet Retreat is one large home flowing over three levels of living and all have their own decks to capitalise on the views and beauty of the property.
While all receive a warm and authentic welcome, the B&B is Vegan and we ask all guests to honour that for the duration of their stay with us.
Big, bright, beautiful room with Queen size bed, TV and DVD player, CD Player, full ensuite with double shower and huge bathtub.
NE facing views to capture the morning and all day sunshine?
Direct access to huge deck and outside sitting area.
The living room and kitchen area is open plan and like the 2 bedrooms available here have floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows to take in the stunning views across the valley to the Kinglake Ranges.
I offer cooking classes and meals but do not GENERALLY offer self preparation for meals aside from snacks and light meals for lunch.
Apologies for any inconvenience.
Use of the fridge and pantry for storage of vegan friendly food is fine though.

If nature and tranquility is your thing, this is what Smiths Gully exemplifies. Tucked away but not too far away, surrounding properties are all 20 acres or bush. Located on a dirt road with trails that wind through the bush just up the road. Local general store [Removed] away with great ambience and vegetarian friendly food. Two local pubs, a weekend winery, the coolest farmers market and a gorgeous gourmet (veg friendly) pizza place within 5 minutes drive
Nearest train is 12 mins drive away. Airport is 45 mins drive. I offer pick ups but suggest a car is necessary if you want to get around and see things beyond hiking or biking
