My kitchen is big enough and has all the basics. It's got a fair amount of bench space and lots of natural light (sunlight and windows). My oven is pretty old but does the job. Water is clean and things are all in working order/good condition.
No rules aside from cleaning up after yourself and using my kitchen to make yummy food :)
My house is in a great location in the North side of the city in a suburb called Cala Cala, right on the bike path (Ciclovia). There is a large supermarket about 15 minutes away by foot that has a number of vego-friendly products. There is also a small fruit and vegetable market that is about a 10 minute walk away, it is relatively reasonably priced. There is also a bakery/restaurant that makes fresh sourdough vegan-friendly bread about 15 minutes away by foot. There is a lot of public transport that passes by that goes into the city frequently, or it's about a 25-30 minute walk. There is a trufi (local public transport) that passes by my house and goes up to the entrance of a National Park/Mountain where you can go walking and have great views of the city.

About Your Host
Hi there! I'm an Australian expat living in Cochabamba, Bolivia. I run a non profit organisation here called TIA (www.tia.org.au), we work with teenagers and young people who are transitioning out of state care into independence at the age of 18. I am a recently converted vegetarian as of about 8 months ago (almost vegan...i'm working up to it, just working out how to make vegan cheese first before I make the transition). I grew up in an almost vegetarian household as my older sister has been vegetarian since she was 2 so I grew up eating minimal meat. Living in Bolivia is particularly difficult to maintain a vegetarian/vegan diet due to lack of vego options and a meat-heavy local diet, which is the main reason that I have taken so long to make the change due to lack of options. I recently ended a relationship with a Vegan from Brazil however where I learned a lot about managing a vegan diet and about the many options available here.
Unfortunately my little house isn't big enough for overnight guests, but i'm happy to host someone to share a meal or use my kitchen/help you find local products etc.
