My home is a delightful 1968 ranch home that is nestled at the end of a dead end street in a quaint, historic village. It is situated about halfway between Ithaca and Cortland and is only a short, 12-minute drive to Cornell.
This private and tranquil room is located off the dining room. It has beautiful hickory hardwood floors, windows with a view of a small, wooded area, and a small futon sofa for a sitting area to read and relax, or that folds out for a third guest.
My kitchen is simple and clean, with cookware, utensils, and dishes for your use. My fridge is vegan, though I do keep non-vegan, canned cat food in there at times. Guests are welcome to bring and keep food in the kitchen and fridge. Food can be prepared using the stove, convection oven, and refrigerator. A food processor, VitaMix, and dehydrator are available. The kitchen sink has a countertop water filter for drinking water or cooking water.
Guests will have access to their space via a dedicated entry from the lower level of the home. The private bathroom (with shower stall) is also located on the lower level, where laundry facilities are available. There is a dining room overlooking a beautiful, private back yard with a pergola. Guests can dine or relax outdoors in the warm weather and enjoy the flower gardens and nature. Guest Wi-Fi is available. Parking is off-street on the driveway, accommodating up to two guest vehicles.
No smoking is allowed on the property. Guests are expected to leave the space in a tidy condition. Quiet after 10pm.
It is a quiet, residential neighborhood situated just off Main Street, with a short walk to the center of the Village.
My house is accessible by car, but there is a TCAT bus route stop (Routes 43 and 75) just a few minutes walk away.
